Bowmore is nice. I've only drunk a few bottles of Laphroaig, but each one tasted different. I've had a couple bottles of the Trader Joe's Finlaggan, and it makes me giddy. Tasty, mysterious, and $20. Fun ride, fun roads. I caught a few things, like how quickly the rider got up Pinehurst (!), and when the missing beer bottle reappeared, empty, it could only mean that it was being carried in a bottle cage on the frame - perfect! Also, it had never occurred to me that interrupters, mounted up flat like that, would work so well as thumb brakes. I'll consider that next time I wrap the Noodles. - Andrew, Berkeley On Monday, August 5, 2013 5:29:04 PM UTC-7, EricP wrote: First off, really like the video. That's great. I saw Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks the night before last in Annapolis, MD. Full disclosure, me sister-in-law, Roberta Donnay, is a lickette, she sings backup with Daria at the Dan Hicks shows. They are a riot, well worth seeing on so many levels. It blows my mind that i was listening to Dan when i was in college, and now this connection. Since I'm shamelessly plugging, Roberta is an awesome singer in her own right. She's in the Bay Area and her 20s jazz album, A Little Sugar is attracting a lot of attention. Check her out. Re: [RBW] Re: New blug question
Talk about a great ride! Port Ellen up the coast for a tour at each of my favorite distilleries (Laughroaig, Lagavulin, Ardbeg, saving the best for last). Good thing the road was well curved, as we'd've ridden off a straight one with all that great whiskey in us. Horrid, falling apart hired bicycles. Used a dry sone wall to put my handlebars back on right (no tools). We thought we had only three more miles to go after Ardbeg, but it turns out the BnB was the other side of the island, so we had 17 miles still to go. Oops.
