Nice eric!

I’m just working my way through a new roll of b/w in my rollei, excited to
see how they eventually come out. What are you using for your fotos? they
always look so good I’m guessing its not your phone

[RBW] Re: Northern Hemisphere Fall / Autumn Riding Photos 2023

2023-12-12 Thread Eric Marth
Stephen, thank you! For a long time I used a Fuji X100, the first version.
When that failed this summer I sent it to Fuji and they offered to sell me
a refurbished X100 V. It wasn't cheap but it was cheaper than the secondary
market and better than new prices when you can find them available from
Fuji (usually, you can't!). Most of my recent pics are with the X100 V but
there are a few sprinkled in there that are shot with my iPhone 8.

I pedaled out to a park in a neighboring county that I'd never been to. It
was a nice creekside view with a picturesque dam, and I enjoyed watching a
heron fish right below the dam. 40 mi ride on a perfect fall day.

Back in LA for a week, and the locals tell me it's lovely fall weather
here. It was in the 90's last week, and this morning was in the upper 50's
and cloudy. The clouds cleared out some as the morning warmed up. West
Coast Sam waited patiently and rewarded me with a lovely ride up and down
Cherry Canyon Motorway, with some bonus time in the hills above the Rose
Bowl.
