[RBW] Re: Phone holder preferences

2021-06-13 Thread Jeffrey Arita
Quad Lock is our choice. Combined with the QL case or the adhesive
adapter, these things have been *Lock* steady (he he) over thousands of
miles of cyclo-touring (off and on-road). And no, we do not work for Quad
Lock.

We realize it is pricey but one needs to keep in mind how valuable one's
mobile phone is (beyond just the initial price). One's mobile device
serves so many purposes.

Good luck,

[RBW] Re: Phone holder preferences

2021-06-14 Thread lconley
I use a RokForm case which has a twistlock similar to the Quad Lock. It
also has an backup lanyard and a magnet for use in the car with the car
mount. The twistlock on the bike can be a bar mount (which I have) or a
threadless stem mount. I have an iPhone, but they also make a Samsung
version.

Quad lock ... especially if you are moving phone between bikes. I have a
mount on my Clem and on my recumbent and it doesn't get any easier. Rock
solid connection and the case only adds a bit of depth to the phone itself.

Re: [RBW] Re: Phone holder preferences - Quad Lock Sale

2021-11-15 Thread 'Hetchins52' via RBW Owners Bunch
For those of you interested (Quad Lock Curious), I balked at the price of
the QL and accessories for a few years then got one on a Black Friday Sale
last year.
Really good system; I like it.
That time is here again: Black Friday (early) and they've sent out the
notice of 30% off:
Check out https://www.quadlockcase.com/
BTW, the little kickstand/finger loop accessory (that you might not notice
on the site) has been very useful to me. The bump/socket on the back
otherwise destabilizes the case when you set the phone down on a flat
surface.
