onto the new site.

ARRGHH!  The site displays fine on a brand new work iPhone but 
not on my personal iPhone. I've deleted the history twice and restarted the 
phone. I still get the 404 message but it's within the site so you can navigate 
to the products but still...

Website is finally viewable on my phone, as of yesterday.  Didn't do anything 
special to make it so. Who knows why, but time seems to have rectified whatever

Wow! What a total PITA! I've deleted cookies (at least I think) and I still get 
a 404 not found message when I go to my link for the Riv website. I really love 
Mac in some ways but more and more I am finding things that I simply CAN'T 
STAND! When I get the 404 message I'm still in the Riv site and I can click on 
one of the tabs and view the content. But this is total BS. I googled "deleting 
cookies on Mac" but the instructions cannot be followed because the tabs that 
I'm supposed to click on are not there. Maybe I'll just wait until Trump 
collapses the whole world and we can start using Pony Express again.

If I could name one person who could explain "everything", I know they are 
fibbing, well intentioned or not. So how anyone can claim to know how this 
or that works at all, and I really mean anything at all down to the most 
seemingly simple matters, is also to me, just another part of the story.  
Not that that's bad, good or anything at all really , in fact this very 
point I am making is really no point at all as I can't find a point to 
point at, let alone anyone pointing.  Many will laugh at this, some will 
understand , and everyone can relate in quiet honesty.  

What can I do, but smile with it all , what-ever all that may-be .

I was having problems and deduced: they were taking it down at @ 7pm each day 
to monkey with it and your old account won't work.  

I was feeling lucky and decided to try to request a new account.  using the 
same email, i created a new account and all my old account info was there!  

Will they take it down again tonight?  Who knows, but it works during the day.

I emailed Dave and asked him if he wanted me to create a new account.  He 
sent me a 'activate your account' message.  I followed that and made a 
password and all my purchase history was restored.

I opened the link with the intention of trying the directions below.  Low 
and behold after three days of trying the site it opened before I needed to 
try anything else.  I'm guessing someone at HQ found the source of our 
problem and fixed it.

I had trouble even after deleting cache, browsing history, cookies, etc. 
and then re-starting browser and computer.  (I use Chrome.)  Then, 
yesterday morning it suddenly started working on my laptop, without doing 
anything new.   My only best guess is that my *router's* history needed to 
be cleared in addition to my computer, and it eventually did that 
automatically overnight.  

However my smart phone still can't see the new site, so I'm not sure what's 
up there.   The last site NEVER worked, until I got a newer phone.

If you are using Firefox:

Tool > Option > Advanced > Network
Click Connection settings button and change proxy settings.

Default is "Use system proxy settings." Changing to "No proxy" worked for 
me.
Please note that it may affect security.

I deleted the Riv site cookies and can access the site.  However, more than
just my account password was deleted in the move.  It appears my entire
account is gone.  I tried to reset my password and my email address is no
longer recognized.  Since I have these values stored in the LastPass
password manager, I know they are unchanged on my end.
