I have the Ribbit brakes on one bike. I also have experience with
Tektro Oryx as well as older cantilever brakes.
When Mark put Ribbits on my Bianchi - he showed me how he secures the
post of the brake pad in a vise, and gives the pad a gentle whack to
create toe-in. So far, they have worked fine. Not as much power as the
Tektro Oryx - probably less than the CR 720s as well.
If I were you - I would go with Tektro Oryx or CR720s. Tektros are
much easier to set up.
