Ha! Thanks Diane. I don't think a steel bike would fair much better under the same circumstances. I hope they didn't have too long a walk back to the parking lot. I met a guy in SA who had to use his bike as a shield against a momma warthog, when he'd inadvertently ridden too close to her den.
