Get the Betty. I have a 47 and my daughter has a 50 but I can ride that one too since it's a mixte. Either one will work. Hi Charles, Congrats on the new Sam! I'm barely 5'2" and have, for 2 years, looked for a used Riv or good Riv-ish style bike in a 45 or 47. I never found a used one, but I'm sure there a a few out there that I missed. I think we're a pretty small market...uh, no pun intended. After my 47 AHH was delivered, I ran across a Handsome Cycles She-Devil in what appeared to be their 49. I should have ridden it just out of curiosity, but we were doing something else. It really looked like it would fit me; it might work for your wife. While we were at a Denver shop, The Mindful Bike, they brought out a lovely 42 or 44 Soma mixte they were building up for a customer. So Soma must be making something in that size. Both Public and Linus make bikes that fit me, though they're not in the same class as Riv or Soma. There is a tiny BOM Atlantis on the Rivendell site. It was just 10% off but I don't know if they would still honor that or not. Either way a small Atlantis is a rare thing so I thought I would pass the info on.
