Having owned a Bleriot and owning a Saluki I have to say that the main advantages I gained were better fit (as they were different sizes) and... A kickstand plate that I never use? The Saluki definitely has more braze-ons which is good. Overall I think I preferred the paint quality on the Bleriot (gasp!) but the Saluki just fits me better. Justin: This may/may not be a good alternative for you. I have a 61 Bleriot (f&f and headset) that I would be interested in selling. I bought the f&f and headset from another list member a few years ago. I intended to build it up but it never happened. Not a Saluki and not a 62, but in the neighborhood. A few normal scratches/scuffs, no dings, an 8.5(?) out of 10. Let me know if interested and I'll answer any questions you might have.
