No Tom you are as entitled to grab the next one as Curtis or I. Personally I am happy whenever someone scores a new large steed. There are not enough large bikes for them to sit or hang unridden, and not be enjoyed or utilized more. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. Congrats Hank. How many of these tall bikes do you have now? PS: you know that over 66cm frame you need a 36er. Congratulations on your purchase. I can attest to the quality ride of the quickbeam. I'm heading up for my Atlantis in a month then that build will begin. So what did you end up paying? Kelly also a good deal for someone. I have one other person offering a Quickbeam. Really hunting for an elusive large Atlantis. Although I almost sprung for the 71 Hilsen on eBay. Anyone other than Kelly have large Rivs they are considering parting with. Would even consider a 66cm Atlantis or 67 of some nature. If anyone wants to part already with one of the 5 jumbo prototype mystery bikes that were built by Mark N. I would be happy to return your investment for a slightly used one. [RBW] Re: WTB 68cm (Rivendell only)
Kelly still considering your Quickbeam. Really surprised no one has grabbed it before. My only explanation for the lack of a sale so far might be the extra wheel set, bag, and light increasing the price although clearly within reason from my perspective. Even though I recently bought a dynohub front wheel from you earlier this year, personally, it would not deter me from gathering another one as part of the package. By the way, which light is on the Quickbeam? I can not tell from the pics for sure. Regardless looking forward to seeing the Atlantis pictures eventually. I nearly contacted you earlier this month when I was down at the BMW Falling Leaf Rally in Potosi, MO. To see your fleet since I did not connect during your Michigan Shoreline tour. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. [RBW] Re: WTB 68cm (Rivendell only)
Ryan, That's what happens when one doesn't want to sell, or doesn't need to sell I guess. The light is a lumatec IQ I believe with auto sensing .. it was about 99 bucks a couple of years ago. Works nicely though. One thing has changed as it now has the albastach bars on it and the light wiring is cleaned up a little with a couple of sticks of airplane tape to see how well it holds up. I don't really know if 2k is a good or bad price, it's just the price for me to let go of it. :) I would take 1500 and I remove the dyno hub set of wheels, the fenders, lights and ablastach bars and stem and seat post. you would get bike one set of wheels/tires jb's, drive train.. 1500.00 +freight. :) I can use all those parts on the Atlantis... you can have the bag and front rack. Hope that dyno I sold you is all you hoped for. If you ever get in the St Louis area, please be sure to stop buy for a ride.
