I believe the Pletscher that Riv sells is in fact rated for a child seat, 
and there is one that works for it, but I don't know where you would get 
it. Re: 2 weeks old. I know of people who have taken their very young 
infants on a bike, but I think waiting a year or so is probably a good 
idea. For that young (1 year plus), I recommend a front carrier.

My pediatrician just gave me the go ahead at her 6 month check up. She has 
fairly strong neck control for a 6 month old given on having a 90th percentile 
noggin.
