Yesterday I made it out for a few, five actually, hours to ride a loop up and over Sulphur Mountain down to Santa Paula and back home to Ventura. The ride is just under 50 miles and 4000 feet of total climbing. Almost a quarter of that is dirt, and about half is no or little traffic. The day was perfect. The Roadeo did everything it is supposed to, the motor had a little more trouble. The only thing I would change is getting out of the house a little earlier to beat the heat and wind.
