an 11 speed cassette. Does not need to be a heavy build for rough use.  It

[RBW] WTB: 650b wheelset on the lighter side (100/135 space)

hi yall

i would like to see what you got. ideal would be something like velocity 
a23 or mavic open pro laced to shimano LX or something like that. i would 
also accept a velocity synergy or atlas (slightly wider/beefier rim OK - 
but cliffhangers would be too much).  i am hoping to spend as close to $200 
as possible. local pickup in bay area preferred but i can pay for shipping 
too depending on how it affects the overall cost.

My friend and I are building up a Rosco Baby (medium) this weekend and have 
most the parts ... except we *need a 650b wheelset and tires*.

Looking for something like Rivendell's offerings would be ideal, 
Cliffhanger, Atlas, or similar rims that can take a 45mm+ tires. Their

set would be great, but it's out of stock. 

650b, 32h or 36h, quick release, rim brake, front and rear wheels, double 
butted spokes are preferred, Deore or better hubs would be nice. 

Also looking for bottom bracket (68x118 UN55), QR skewers, and long pull / 
v-brake levers. 

We're hoping to get setup for a ride with both of our daughters this 
weekend after test riding the Gus at Riv on Friday!

I have a synergy rim laced to velocity hub 650b wheelset that came on my Blue 
Sam from RBW.  ~2500 miles on them. Wheels run good and look great. Front hub 
starting to sound a little scratchy under neurotic ear listening at close 
range. Everything spins free.

Let me know if interested. Comes with 8-speed cassette.

if you arent a large individual  you could get the "budget" set that
Rivendell used to sell on Fleabay. I have a 36 spoke Synergy set from
Rivendell/Harris Cylery in 650b and at 250lbs have hit some potholes in
this same NYC you speak of and have had no issues. A decent amount of money
up front but worth it in the long run.

[RBW] WTB: 650b wheelset, long-reach brakes

I've recently converted my old Maruishi tourer to a commuter, and love it 
but for the 27 1/4 tires, which are a tight fit under the longboards and 
leave a lot to be desired in the way of comfort on NYC's gnarly pavement. 

If it can be done affordably, I'd like to convert to 650b, so... anyone 
have a not-too-heavily-used 650b wheelset to sell? Please hit me up here or 
off-list: kolbyt at gmail dot com. And as long as I'm asking, doing this 
would require some long reach brakes (e.g. the Dia Compes). Provided I can 
get a wheelset, that is.

I am looking for a relatively inexpensive 650B wheelset with Shimano
compatible hubs (105, Deore LX, etc.), with butted spokes (preferably
32, but 36 is okay, too). Used but in good condition is fine. Silver
preferred.
