[RBW] can one convert a 53 atlantis to a 650b?

In a more generic list, like iBob, the basic question is the efficacy of changing a 26 (559) wheeled bike to a 650B (584). Unlike the initial idea of 650B/584 conversion from a 700C/622 size, the core question might be what do you hope to gain?
