I think a few people have experimented or at least measured for this - You
should take a loop through the archives - this topic has cropped up a couple
of times. In a more generic list, like iBob, the basic question is the
efficacy of changing a 26 (559) wheeled bike to a 650B (584).

Unlike the initial idea of 650B/584 conversion from a 700C/622 size, the
core question might be what do you hope to gain?

For a cantilever brake equipped bicycle, I'd say the first mechanical issue
to consider is that of brake position.

There were messengers who named their bikes, but Chevette never would have
done that, and somehow because she did think about it like it was something
alive.

VO blog from 20 May, 2011 has one person's opinion/experience of this
conversion on a 26 LHT. Not an Atlantis, but similar geometry and
cantilever brakes.
