I survived. Only got a few pics, mainly at rest stops. I could not h ave done it with any other type of bike - or if I wasn't using flat pedals! Great area for riding. We did a century in that area, I think it was the first year of "Tornado 110" it was a blast. Just have fun. At eighty miles a cold beer is nice too. Yeah, that pedaling thing is a good idea! :-) I hop off the bike a bit about every hour of riding. Good for me physically and mentally. Taking pics is a good idea as well. Gives you an excuse to hop off the bike, but also keeps your brain busy looking for interesting shots. Hopefully the weather will be great for you. Have a great time! I'm up in Joplin for my first Century ever. Will be riding Jenny the AHH warrior bike with handlebar bags and all. Going to wear canari padded briefs and musa shorts. Any last minute tips for me?
