Hillborne's the only bike I've ever sold, and it pains me so terribly awful
to think of it. It's in a good place though... Enjoy them Hillybornes!

Heartfelt agreement on the Hillborne sentiment. It's the only bike I've
owned in my life that I am certain I will never want to sell, and I've
owned 40+ bikes (5 in current stable)!

Rich commented on my not-so-often-seen Hillborne.

It is still around, and is still an utterly perfect bicycle. It lives up
in Arnold for now, and so it gets infrequent but high-value miles. I
reconfigured it for loaded touring (and Rinko) last winter with the intent
to ride it down the California Coast in March 2020, but everything in the
world went pear shaped in March of 2020. Maybe 2022 will be a good target
for a Spring Coast run.
