Dear Erich, I am very pleased to see the ROOo interface. I realise it is still part of your beta testing. I downloaded (release 15-10-2008.zip file), and tried as you suggested and I am sure I did exactly what you said. Install the 4 files via the Tools -> extensions manager... as well as install library(rscproxy) with R2.7.2 on a Windows XP machine and version 3.0.0 (build 9358) of openoffice. I made a cell with rnorm(10) and then tried to run this cell via ROOo menu Run Rcode but it gave me an error? the error says Basic RunTime error in a window with comments like exception error etc, and then points to the gInterface... part of the macro Sub RRunCommands(aRange As Object) gInterface.RRunCommands(aRange) End Sub
