Dear Erich,

I am very pleased to see the ROOo interface. I realise it is still part of your
beta testing.

I downloaded (release 15-10-2008.zip file), and tried as you suggested and I am
sure I did exactly what you said. Install the 4 files via the Tools ->
extensions manager...

as well as install library(rscproxy) with R2.7.2 on a Windows XP machine and
version 3.0.0 (build 9358) of openoffice.

I made a cell with
rnorm(10)

and then tried to run this cell via ROOo menu Run Rcode
but it gave me an error?

the error says Basic RunTime error in a window with comments like exception
error etc, and then points to the gInterface...
part of the macro

Sub RRunCommands(aRange As Object)
  gInterface.RRunCommands(aRange)
End Sub

Can you please tell me what i am doing wrong?

many thanks for all your work on ROOo and RExcel of course which I am using
with no problems.

M.

PS - is there an installROOo() in R yet for windows?

Subject: [Rcom-l] ROO (ROOo) Update

The R OpenOffice announced yesterday will be updated a few times
(it is still in development)
The current version is at
http://rcom.univie.ac.at/download/ROOo/ROOo20081014-1.zip
The directory name was changed from ROO to ROOo
and the third o also was added to the file name.
We will stay with this naming model,
and the directory name will stay also.
Therefore
http://rcom.univie.ac.at/download/ROOo/
will always have the latest available version.
