And look through the gallery. There is a lot to be gleaned from that. Also, http://www.gizmology.net/tanks.htm is an indpeth 1/5 scale sherman plan. Just rescale to 1/6. I feel unqualified to offer advice since I've ignored every bit of advice offered which is why my Valentine is incomplete after several years of desultary building. However I would suggest that picking any tank you fancy and getting stuck in is better than (what I did) making lists of tanks and comparing their pros and cons. And the this site- http://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/tanks/ - has some good three views for when you start.
