[TANKS] Re: no rest for tankers

2009-05-30 Thread Tango71

I will try to get you some details of that tomorrow. I'm also going to
a tank museum on base for a hour and will post up a bunch of pictures,
maybe if there is something that catches anyones attention I can go
back and get details for them.

 times.

Thanks very much for the offer of some detailed photos. I could really use
some details on the front hull and front fender area. I'm not sure how I'll
make that area where the fenders descend and join the top front hull.

  Hello -

I've been busy recently. If you're interested, you can read about it on my
  site (http://home.comcast.net/~dwconn404/RCTank/RCTankCombat.htm).

  Here are the teasers:

First, there's the new loading hatch on the Bad Kitty, T058. Read about it
  here http://home.comcast.net/~dwconn404/RCTank/Tiger/Turret.htm .

  image001.jpg

Second, there's the tank hoist I installed in my shop. Read about it here
  http://home.comcast.net/~dwconn404/WorkShop/Workshop.aspx .

  image002.jpg

Finally, there's a new section on the T-72 I'm planning. Below, you can
 see
the fiberglass turret shell I made. Read about it here
  http://home.comcast.net/~dwconn404/RCTank/T-72/T-72Overview.aspx .

[TANKS] Re: no rest for tankers

2009-05-30 Thread Doug Conn

Very astute, Sgt ! Yes, I plan to put a camera and maybe a laser in that
very spot. I have a 7x USB webcam I'd like to put there, but it's 4 long
even after I hack it up. I'm not sure I can fit it there.

Thanks, I think the T-72 is a cool looking tank, too.

[TANKS] Corporate Takeover - Part Deux

2009-05-30 Thread Vern Dernberger

The titanic corporate struggle on May 2 resulted in a virtual
stalemate between two business giants, Maryland-based Tri-Pact Global
Industries, LLC (TPGI) and Pennsylvania-based YomamaDyne Technologies,
Inc. (YT). Unable to secure sufficient financing to buy-out YT at
that time, TPGI issued a PDQ RFI to help determine the ROI needed to
secure the proper APR. With those results in hand, TPGI has now
decided to go back to the negotiating battlefield for a second round
of discussions. This time, however, TPGI will be assisted by
outside counsel from the law firm of Dewey, Cheatum and Howe, who also
represents the Vegas Alliance, an affiliate of TPGI with a shady
history. According to industry insiders, the takeover talks will take
place on Sunday, June 14 in Gettysburg, PA at a secure, corporate
offsite facility, with initial talks expected to commence at 10am.
Anyone wishing to attend those talks should post a message to this
forum to receive directions to the facility via private courier.

People around the world are anxious to see how this corporate struggle
is resolved, potentially issuing in a new way of conducting business
transactions in the global economy.
