Re: [TANKS] iphone control
I still like my idea of the neurologically-operated mental-tank. The pilot can wear electrodes on his head and mentally contol the tank via a computer and transmitter! —Mike (I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express) Måne Message sent by way of mobile device On Jan 7, 2010, at 2:31 AM, Ben Holko wrote: http://media.theage.com.au/technology/tech-talk/iphone-remote-controlled-drone-1020805.html&exc_from=timeout so who is going to be the first to have a video driven iphone controlled tank? You can get sprockets with any common combination of tooth pitch, tooth count, and shaft diameter at McMaster. As a side note, pulleys are defined by diameter. Always buy mine from Surplus Center. Cheapest I've found with a large selection. [TANKS] Re: iphone control
The mention of augmented reality (AR) is also interesting. I saw an article that said that AR software development kits have begum to appear on the market. A first-person shooter game using AR might consist of people wearing AR glasses that superimpose computer generated objects on the live, real-world video projected onto the glasses. The CGI objects might consist of tracers for example. Requires a very accurate 3D positioning and orientation technology, however. -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
