[TANKS] Re: T057
It's fine at speed (probably about 3mph). The problem is small movements, eg aiming left and right as there's no speed except full speed. Looks manageable. We need to sort out some dates for battles. I'm away for about the whole of September. Any news on this new site? phil On Feb 20, 6:56 pm, neroc funkyne...@ntlworld.com wrote: This is great news , I`ll bet your pleased . how is the tanks controllability at speed ? we may well have a new battle site to put T057 to test. I'll produce some photos when I can find the camera, the lead, and some daylight, but I can report that the tank now uses the MAG system as opposed to unreliable Sabertooth ESC. The marker now sits on the lower hull, not in the upper hull. Phil- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - -- You are currently subscribed to the R/C Tank Combat group. [TANKS] Re: UK Visit
Phil, I'd appreciate the ride. Not sure if Mrs. Steve is interested in seeing Bovington so that day may be a spa day for her. Right now were looking at early September for the trip (hopefully the wedding crowds will be down by then ;-). [TANKS] M1A1/M1A2 need help
I'm trying to start a 1/6 M1A1. But I what to get every angle wright. I what to make it out of wood first. If it come out then I'll make it out of aluminum. I can't find all the right dimensions from a real one. Like all the angles on the top of the body by the turret. Can any one help with any part? -- You are currently subscribed to the R/C Tank Combat group. Re: [TANKS] M1A1/M1A2 need help
Buy yourself a 1:18 scale toy off of eBay. It will be the best $30 you will spend on the tank (and don't buy a battle switch, but that's a different thread for another time.) 21st century makes the toy you want. Re: [TANKS] M1A1/M1A2 need help
Or, just build a cardboard paper mock up, try all the shapes and angles, cut with scissors, fit and hold them together with tape, then undo the paper turret and copy the individual shapes in aluminum sheet. Cut with a jigsaw.
