Welcome back, Fred !

Sounds like you have a lot of new toys to play with. Are they all going into a
new T-34/85 ?

I’ve been playing around with a Raspberry Pi2 as a controller for Small Fry,
too. I think they have potential.

Hello...

Life has decided to cut me some slack and quit interrupting me, thus allowing
me to enjoy some quality tank building time.

The Northern Barbarians Centre for Advance Research and Development is again
running at 100% efficiency. The CARD has received several major upgrades in
the proto-typing department:
1. A milling machine and training on its use has begun.
2. A router and router table.
3. A new band saw which can handle light steel.

The Barbarian Espionage and Sneaky Stuff, Eh (BESSE) has infiltrated the
heathens to the south and procured the following:
1. A C12C
2. a Sabertooth 2x32 (max 64amp) regenerative ESC.
3. 30 ft (That's 9.144M for the rest of us) of 2060 attachment chain [Note: the
Purchasing Dept had heart failure at the cost and threatened reduced funding.
They were bribed with dinner and dancing.]
4. A raspberry PI 2 for onboard hot spot and video capture
5. A new (to us) Tippman Marker
6. 30 five inch metal wheels with hard rubber outers, bearing and 1/2" bore
7. A boat load of new stuff from our secret on-line source; High torque servos,
mini servos, PS2 game controller(s), LED's, cameras etc, etc, etc...

I think I see a new T-34 in the works. :-)

We pause now while Tri-Pact and PUFF faint. Winter is coming and the Barbarians
will coming howling down out of the north...

Cheers,
Fred
