Okay that's about what I expected. Again, thank you. Could I possibly trouble you for an estimate of the specs (pin length, width, and number, of hinges) and rough cost of your tracks per side. I absolutely love the design. Very professional looking. [TANKS] Hello
First off I thought I should introduce my self. My name is Mike and I live in Wisconsin, US. A few weeks ago I happened to come across your main web site and instantly knew I had to at least try to build one. I gathered a few friends and we sat around in my basement and came up with ideas and and materials and eventually came to the conclusion that we would try to do it as cheaply as we could as we are all poor at the moment. We are trying to produce something very close to the Ha-Go #T052. We would like to make tracks out of hinges, but are not aware of any place that sells them cheap enough to fit our budget. I have spent hours searching the net (specifically McMaster Carr) and local hardware stores but haven't come up with much. I am looking for hinges with a pin length of at least 2". Because we are on a budget and because we will be using the tank as a recon vehicle for air soft and not paintball, scale and aesthetics are not high on our list of priorities. We just need to find parts for a reasonable price. Any help given would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mike. -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
