Depends on the load being moved. A 100ms pulse is sufficient to pull a manual marker trigger. For lighter loads, a 50ms pulse may work just as well.

We never measured the stall current of an actuator motor. We just know that, like most small motors, if you stall them for too long the windings will melt.
