Re: [RE-wrenches] Whisper Turbine Parts
Look forward to your evaluation Jeremy. I have a number of 100's 200's in the field. I'm currently replacing a failed 200 controller with a Midnite Clipper Classic 200 and am hoping the increase in performance advertised by Midnite will actually materialize and help to offset the significant increase in cost. There is a dealer in Colorado. I can report on its performance after its been in for a while. Maybe we have a source now! Jeremy All Solar Sent by Jeremy's iPhone. Re: [RE-wrenches] Adding similar but updated modules to same inverter
You would get more output for less money if you add an additional module to each string and keep the old inverter, than if you bought a new inverter. Do you think that the slight difference in tracking voltage and current will be significant enough to justify the cost of adding or swapping the inverter? Re: [RE-wrenches] Adding similar but updated modules to same inverter
I think that the 230s required positive grounding, so you can't swap out the inverter for a TL unit. These two circuits in parallel will be fine for your MPPT, you'll have essentially the same voltages but slightly higher current in your new second string.
