Thank you for the information. On checking out 
the options, the Easy Feet seem like the best 
approach for this project. All of the methods 
discussed are very good to know about.

Depending on the type of roof, sunmodo makes a product and is 1/2 the cost
of the S-5 product and mounts directly to the rail. If you need to fasten
to the decking (SIPS) product there is a sunmodo product for that also.
