Re: [RE-wrenches] Snapnrack end caps

2023-07-05 Thread Garrison via RE-wrenches
Hi Drake,

I can confirm. The design could be improved.

I’ve noticed that end caps on rails that are flush or a fraction of an inch
shorter than the panel frame lose the end caps at a higher rate than when the
rail sticks past the module frame. My guess is that module movement from
expansion/contraction is popping them off.

Can confirm. We receive email from customers on the regular that these are
popping off. I haven't attempted to draw a correlation between when the
systems were installed and the effect of freeze/thaw but that was the
assumption I've made.

[RE-wrenches] Snapnrack end caps

2023-07-05 Thread Drake Chamberlin via RE-wrenches
Hello All,

We have had a lot of end caps fall off Snapnrack Ultra Rail. Kevin at
S was wondering if this is a common occurrence. Is it something we are
doing, is it freezing and thawing or is it the design of the caps.

Thank you,

Drake
