Re: [RE-wrenches] merging PV data from different dashboards

2019-05-27 Thread Darryl Thayer
If you are after production and consumption only, which makes a lot of
sense, I would use Egauge. if you use the Core it can monitor 15 channels
on one device. It also has several math functions, it can, for example,
give running demand, if your customer wants to know demand compensation.
Egauge can give a one-second resolution. It will also measure voltages,
currents, energy, power factor, leading and lagging reactive power. If
your customer ever wants to do storage the Egauge data can do design basics
allowing system sizing and ROI determination.

Check out AMMP
https://www.ammp.io/

They claim to be able to remotely monitor performance data from web
connected devices from multiple vendors and multiple project sites and
allow it to be viewed through a unified portfolio management dashboard.

Their target market is rural mini-grid Distributed Energy Service
Companies. It seems like you are looking for similar functionality so maybe
they can do it.

I have not yet seen the system in action but I will over the next few
months because they have been selected as a service provider for the
government subsidized mini-grid project I am part of in Myanmar.

All the best
Eric

[RE-wrenches] merging PV data from different dashboards

2019-05-25 Thread Kirk Herander
Hi All,

I have a premium client I've done multiple systems for over the years with
multiple inverter monitoring platforms (SolarEdge, Enphase, Fronius,
Outback, etc.). I have been tasked with creating a monthly summary, listing
building consumption, PV production, self-consumption and other data, in a
common format. And I'd like to do it automatically, I don't have the desire
to spend hours manually entering data from multiple platforms into a
spreadsheet.

Anyone know of a universal monitoring hardware that can work and report
across all these platforms? Or perhaps software which could import data from
distinct platforms and merge it all into a uniform summary site-by-site?
