A simple solution that I've used is to utilize an 
off-the-shelf lighting timer. You can get an 
inexpensive unit that plugs into an outlet. Take 
the 120 V AC output and use it to trigger a 120 
volt coil relay. Depending on your signal 
voltage, this may work. You can set delays by 
using the adjustments on the timer.

I use a delay relay alot for water pumps, lights ect. Brand is Altronics
model 6030 check them out you may find a better solution at altronics, we
build around this alot easy to do.
