Re: [RE-wrenches] grundfos SQFlex question
It’s too bad that Lorentz has come and gone a few times. I do like the architecture with the electronics all at the surface. And that the old ones had a easy manual speed control. The property has a sqflex in another well so I’ll just work on some options to get the flow as close as I can for The customer. Jay, Lorentz still has two people in texas. I can’t find an active dealer but they do provide excellent tech support 24/7. I have to buy from a dealer but the ones that I have called only get one if specified on a new well they are drilling. They didn’t know much about them. Re: [RE-wrenches] grundfos SQFlex question
Jay, Running a Grundfos pump on low voltage also means running it on limited input power (the current can't/won't exceed a certain amount). It is easy to end up with a pump that won't operate all of the time, or only for a limited amount of hours every day. A pump that has a speed control is a better choice; it will operate more reliably and for more hours every day. Lorentz pumps are still available in the U.S. The new controller doesn't have the speed adjustment built in, but there is an option to order a speed adjustment for the controller. The speed can also be adjusted with a smart phone app. I believe that your distributor for Lorentz Pumps is GenPro Energy Solutions. I’m trying to limit flow by lowering the voltage, which I know works, but I can’t find the output vs voltage charts. And does anyone know if Lorentz is still active in the USA? The last time i checked their controller had the ability for flow/speed adjustment. Grundfus used to have flow vs voltage charts per pump On Tue, Jun 15, 2021, 3:34 PM jay wrote: > Does anyone have or know where I can get the pump curves with voltages? > > I’m trying to limit flow by lowering the voltage, which I know works, but > I can’t find the output vs voltage charts. > > And does anyone know if Lorentz is still active in the USA? > The last time i checked their controller had the ability for flow/speed > adjustment. > > Thanks > > jay > > peltz power > > > ___ > List sponsored by Redwood Alliance > > Pay optional member dues here: http://re-wrenches.org > > List Address: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org > > Change listserver email address & settings: > http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org > > There are two list archives for searching.
