What I mean is that I don't like having to type in te full path to the remote *and* the full path to the local every time I transfer. typical command looks like this right? $ scp path/of/files/to/upload/ :/path/to remote/server/blah whereas in ncftp id just type $ put -r dirname Maybe I misunderstand, feel free to correct me :-) > - -- - --- www.explodingnet.com |Projects, Forums and +Articles for website owners - -- Nick Wilson -- |and designers. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE8gTLLHpvrrTa6L5oRAtLTAJ4tmOEc+Cm3GwxU9YmaMSaF0rlZUwCfePuQ MdlSexodIpJVrK2ftw6KBA4= =vlNJ -END PGP SIGNATURE- ___ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
licq help
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, not satisfied with the rpm on 7.2 I downloaded the latest version and followed the instructions to install. No problem. I think I may have ballsed it up a little as I get something along the lines of 'can't find the messge.wav file' on incomings. I'd like to *completely* uninstall and start a fresh. How? I've tried make uninstall but the problem persists when I install again? Yes, I see your point, although when I mentioned being root I just meant that I was the only one who had physical access to the machine. My problem is that ssh and scp seem so cumbersome.
