If you have no previous experience, you'll probably want to look at
KDevelop (http://www.kdevelop.org/). It's included in the Red Hat
PowerTools.

Well, try using RHIDE. I use it on my Linux system for backwards
compability with the RHIDE DOS version :-)

Shouldn't be hard to find though.

Oh yeah, it's simmilar to Borland's C/C++ DOS editor.

SectionsI don't think so. VI is better...try telling the Vi and Vim

Yep. Nothing like Emacs =).

But I like xwpe, too. It is just a "Borland style" IDE. It is on the CDs.

But if it is real IDE u want look at kdevelop..it is free..

cygnus has a more powerful IDE but costs $$
