RE: Wireless Linksys WPC11

2002-07-09 Thread Carter, Shaun G

Going from 7.2 to 7.3 I noted that that was removed for some reason. I
have, however, been able to install 7.3 and Limbo with the WPC11 card
working right after install. WEP is still not working as far as I know.

Subject: Wireless Linksys WPC11

I have a problem trying to set up a wireless Linksys WPC11 ver 3.0 card.
According to their web site

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7.3-Manual/custom-guide/s1-netw
ork-config-wireless.html

I should be able to point and click my way through this. However, there is
no 'Wireless' entry in the configurator.

Has anyone been able to get this card to work, and how did you go about
doing
it?

Thank you

We use them in everything. We use laptops though and the driver loads
automatically when PCMCIA starts. We haven't had to configure it on 15
different machines now.
