Can I ask the same question about the post-4.0 kdepim branch? kdepim in trunk
seems to be quite broken, and why is the stuff not developed in trunk after
the release delay?

If we don't loose functionality, go ahead.

I agree. merging sounds safer, even though it screws up annotate. the two
branches diverged quite far though, so its a lot of work.

I guess they're more happy of having a kmail release that *can* be translated
over one that is totally untranslated.

No objections here.

Moving it into tags/unmaintained/4 is the preferred way to "kill" it.

Exception request for kdebase/runtime/kioslave/media

2007-10-11 Thread Kevin Ottens
Hello,

The freeze for the platform is here, and thanks to questions from Lubos about
the old mediamanager I noticed that the media ioslave is still in
kdebase/runtime... while I somehow thought I removed it weeks ago.

I'm not even sure it's functional right now, and I'm not planning to fix it
since it's conveniently replaced by solid, the places system in kdelibs/kfile
and a couple of applets in plasma.

Can I get an exception for removing it now?
Am I supposed to move it somewhere particular or simply kill the directory?

Regards.

Add Fedora to that bunch now too, so definitely +1 here too.

I was exaggerating to bias the responses to accept my proposal. :)

'kdepim-crappy' ? ;)

Its the one we have been releasing for some time, not a good signal :)
