Can I ask the same question about the post-4.0 kdepim branch? kdepim in trunk seems to be quite broken, and why is the stuff not developed in trunk after the release delay? I agree. merging sounds safer, even though it screws up annotate. the two branches diverged quite far though, so its a lot of work. > I support the idea of course, I'm just wondering about those small details. > Another "small detail" would be: checking with the translators that they > are OK with all those new strings appearing in the 3.5 branch - so close to > the release. I guess they're more happy of having a kmail release that *can* be translated over one that is totally untranslated. Exception request for kdebase/runtime/kioslave/media
Hello, The freeze for the platform is here, and thanks to questions from Lubos about the old mediamanager I noticed that the media ioslave is still in kdebase/runtime... while I somehow thought I removed it weeks ago. I'm not even sure it's functional right now, and I'm not planning to fix it since it's conveniently replaced by solid, the places system in kdelibs/kfile and a couple of applets in plasma. Can I get an exception for removing it now? Am I supposed to move it somewhere particular or simply kill the directory?
