This transition has now been completed, and going forward all access should
now be directed to deino.kde.org.

Those interested in the status of the mirror network, as well as estimates
on what the mirrors handle on our behalf can take a look at the mirror
statistics pages provided by our new mirror management system (Mirrorbits)
at https://files.kde.org/?mirrorstats and
https://download.kde.org/?mirrorstats

Inclusion of KPublicTransport, KOSMIndoorMap and Itinerary in the release service

2020-10-30 Thread Volker Krause
Hi,

assuming the on-going review process for KOSMIndoorMap wont find any blockers
in the next few days anymore, I'd like to ask for the following three modules
to be included in the release service for 20.12:

- kpublictransport
- kosmindoormap
- itinerary

All of them should already have the release service version number setup.

Thanks,
Volker

Transition to new mirror infrastructure

2020-10-30 Thread Ben Cooksley
Hi all,

Just a heads up that over the weekend we're going to be migrating from the
existing mirror master server (known as milonia.kde.org) to the new master
server (which can be found under the name deino.kde.org).

While this is not expected to have any impact on public access (as both
systems will continue to serve download.kde.org and files.kde.org in the
same form), it does mean that it may not be possible to upload new files
for a short period of time.

For those who are looking to upload files or perform releases over the
weekend, it would be appreciated if you could please contact us so we can
ensure that you are guided to the correct system.

Thanks,
Ben Cooksley
