Krita 4.4.5 Released

2021-06-09 Thread Halla Rempt
We just released Krita 4.4.5. Note that there is no 4.4.4 public release,
because that was just a patched 4.4.3 we made to publish in the Epic store.

Seems like we could make a 4.4.5 in late June, since 4.5.0 is due
   early August.

hmmm will we have any commits for it?

Was 4.4.4 tagged already? I saw on websvn.kde.org.tags that it was... not
sure how can one be aware of this, I committed a bug fix yesterday but
obviously I have to push it in the changelog for 4.4.5...
Is the communication working properly? Are devels aware on why 4.4 branch
is important? Is 4.4.5 important for distros?

Well, if we make a decision and make one quickly, I can send out some
emails, make a blog post, etc.

kdepim has several important bug fixes that could be included in a 4.4.5.
I am all for a 4.4.5
I'd certainly like to raise more awareness from developers about it. Maybe we
could stress that this will be the last 4.4 release and that distributions
will likely use it for a while.

I'll try to blog mid June about it!
 Thanks Allen,

If Amazon can email me reminders about stuff, I wonder why we can't?

The 4.6 schedule now contains a link to an .ics file. Needless to say, everyone
can put that in korganizer and get their reminders. I can even add the alerts
to the ics I guess

4.4.5?

2010-05-31 Thread Allen Winter
Do we want to make a 4.4.5 release?

Seems like we could make a 4.4.5 in late June, since 4.5.0 is due early
August.

If we want 4.4.5, I propose the schedule:
June 24th, 2010: Tag KDE 4.4.5
June 29th, 2010: Release KDE 4.4.5

I vote yes.
