shipping in the 48 states.

   I just put an MTR2000 UHF repeater in commercial service, and I know
   that it will also cover the Amateur 70cm band.  It's pretty pricey for
   most Ham groups, even if you get a stripped model.  Be aware, the

   watt model requires 28VDC, while the 60W and lower run on 12VDC.  You
   can save a few hundred by deleting the built-in power supply and the
   4-wire interface.  However, you should consider getting the speaker,
   speaker cable, special local-control microphone, programming cable,

   repaired by exchanging modules, so the detailed service manual does
