Re: [Repeater-Builder] 900mhz Spectra Tac Receiver

2004-04-02 Thread Neil McKie

Did you figure out the actual model number of the receiver board?
It should be rubber stamped on the board.

Model numbers / chassis numbers / individual circuit board numbers
will go a long way toward helping those of us who may have the
information you are looking for - but may not recognize the use
your particular chassis has for it.

 Hi Russ,

Thanks for the reply but I think that you may have misunderstood
me. I'm seeking information on the tune up procedure for a Micor
Spectra Tac receiver, not the Spectra mobile. My book has every
 band except that one.

 Thanks anyway

[Repeater-Builder] 900mhz Spectra Tac Receiver

2004-04-01 Thread Adam C. Feuer
Hello All,

I sent this to the AR902 list with negative results so I thought I might try
here as well.

I have acquired a Motorola 900mhz Spectra Tac receiver. I also have the
service and tune up manual as well. However, the manual only covers the low
band, VHF, UHF, 800mhz receivers. Does anyone happen to have the tune up
procedure for the 900?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

We have 9 Spectra's all the info came from the Bat Labs web site
(www.batlabs.com) I think is the url.
Most help full on the 900 MHz stuff. Remember most if not all of the 900
stuff is norrow band (2.5 KHz) Not 5KHz like two meters. We are useing all
2.5 on the Metro-Comm system so we will not have to convert every radio from
2.5 to 5 kz. Just works out better that way. If you need some one to covert
it down to 902 to 927 contact me off line.
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) I will pass the name and phone number along to you of the
person who does most of the work for the folks (users)on the Metro-Comm
system.

Spectra Tac, not Spectra. I don't know for sure, but it's likely a Micor
rx board.
