It reads the radio fine. I went to test mode. All it did was reset the 
software. What im I doing wrong 718-999-1436

If you have the Software, :

1 Read the radio
2 Go to test mode
3 Press F10
4 Go to Maximum deviation
5 Adjust as necesary. 

If you only want to adjust the microphone sens. you only have to 
open the radio top and botom, take the front apart, in the components
side will be a variable resistor just above the mic. conector , this is the
microphone sensibility control

Richard, it's through the software or via the front panel but ONLY if the
radio
is programmed to allow you to get into this mode on power up..

I have the software. Were on the menu controls this setting

 [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11/12/03 05:33PM 
Richard, it's through the software or via the front panel but ONLY if the
radio
is programmed to allow you to get into this mode on power up..

There should be a TEST option under the Program pull down..

I went into test no options for mic audio is shown.
