Re: [Repeater-Builder] Ot, Need a Tool Part #

I use the radio shack that is for doing the db 9 - 25 pins and it works great.
for the cost difference and what little he would be using them that is what I
recommend.

Thanks,
John

That will not crimp a 20 pin connector...

He asked for a specific part number for a tool to do a specific job...
I assumed he wanted the proper one...

Didn't Radio Shack used to carry tools for making the crimp connections?

Ah yes, here ya go, should do the trick... 276-1595, available at most stores.

Or you could go like what others have recommended, and see if you can
source them pre-terminated.

I think you're referring to AMP tool # 91516-1
http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/391772-tool-crimper-mt-conn-20-24-awg-91516-1.html

big $$'s for a 1 time use... there are pre-terminated leads available to make
harnesses out of which maybe a more practical solution

Hi Group,

I am in need of the crimp tool for the 16 connector for the gm300 series. The
tool that allows crimping of the pins to wire.

Thanks in advance,
