I'm not normally compelled to reply to a query such as this one, but 
please don't consider building a repeater from Ramsey kits.  There are 
plenty of better radios out there that are as cheap or cheaper than the 
Ramsey stuff.

I agree with Kevin. GE and Motorola stuff is out there for less money and
much less grief. There's conversion info on the Repeater Builder's web site
for the 220 stuff.

Yup. If you want to handle lots of money simply buy at retail and sell
wholesale. Makes for a very busy business... (for a while!)

I've yet to find any. Ramsey boards alone are bout $20.

In all fairness, I have heard good things about their Com3 service monitor 
 was thinking about picking one up on eBay.  If someone has heard 
otherwise now's a good time to hear about it.
