[Repeater-Builder] RC-850 Madness

2004-12-08 Thread DCFluX

Revival!

Sorry, My nutscrape account decided to bounce all the emails from the
reflector for the past 2 days.

To answer some questions:

This is an RC-850 with the VRT and Autopatch boards installed, no CIB
or front panel.

The repeater is on 146.64 TX, 146.04 RX.

I am presently using the same power supply as the radios which is a
Triplite PR-40. I do have the digital ground and analog ground tied
together on the controller end and the ground difference diodes inside
the controller are shot.

I have the lids on. Autopatch is not connected to a line at the moment.

I did notice that the controller dead carriers 146.76, and noise from
hell all up and down the 2M band from just being near the controller..

Has anyone had any experience in dealing with the RFI generated in a ACC

I DO have an ACC ITC-32 for sale...

You know, Everyone around here keeps saying I should do that too.

Seriously. I can unsquelch the MASTR-IIs local speaker and I don't have
desense until I turn on the controller. And It gets really bad when it is
geneating morse code, you can decode the CW as the noise gets quieter during a
tone.
