on the bad transistor? Maybe we can help you more than you would

The transmitter I need a new transistor for is from a Johnson moidel 
100 repeater.  The only number I have is on the transistor is 4058.  
It was made by Motorola.  Johnson cannot supply a replacement.  Have 
not been able to find anything close to it.
