Re: [Repeater-Builder] Re: Micor station modules? (Equivalent Micor and MSR-2000 Modules)
I ran a repeater on one. But as a ham repeater, there was no remote control, DC, tone, anything in it. The only cards in the cage were PL, R1 audio, Squelch Gate, time-out timer, and Station Control. I had the PL card in and out and the same with the time-out timer On Feb 6, 2008, at 4:41 PM, skipp025 wrote: A 100% confirmed in-stone station control module swap? s. > Cort Buffington <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I've also done station control cards. > > On Feb 6, 2008, at 4:34 PM, skipp025 wrote: > > > > > The only Micor & MSR-2000 Module I know to be an equivalent > > (less the edge connector) is the Squelch Gate Module. A 100% confirmed in-stone station control module swap? I've also done station control cards. On Feb 6, 2008, at 4:34 PM, skipp025 wrote: The only Micor & MSR-2000 Module I know to be an equivalent (less the edge connector) is the Squelch Gate Module. You must use msr 2000 connectors on the Micor modules. I use the connectors from MSR 2000 modules that I would not be using to go on the Micor modules. This is very helpful to save several dollars. 73 de Tom MAnning, AF4UG > - Original Message - > From: Kris Kirby > To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Wednesday, February 06, 2008 12:25 AM > Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Micor station modules? > > > > Can Micor station modules be used in an MSR2000 station? > > -- > Kris Kirby, KE4AHR <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > But remember, with no superpowers comes no responsibility. > --rly >

The only Micor & MSR-2000 Module I know to be an equivalent (less the edge connector) is the Squelch Gate Module. I would not ever plug in any other Module without doing all the proper homework (checking). cheers, skipp > "Tom Manning" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello Kris > Micor station modules can be used in MSR2000 units with this stipulation. [Repeater-Builder] Re: Micor station modules?
Second question (I've been wondering about this for a long time and was too lazy to ask)! Can Micor station modules be used in an MSR2000 station? and vice-versa? --- In Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com, Kris Kirby <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Can Micor station modules be used in an MSR2000 station? > > -- > Kris Kirby, KE4AHR <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > But remember, with no superpowers comes no responsibility. > --rly >
