Get on Ebay and buy one of Richard's Canadian MSR-2000 
repeaters for $479 (last price).  100 watts all day 
long and it's made for the 2 meter band.  

His ebay id is Bro-comm.  I already have 4 of these 
units for myself and 5 more done for other people. 
They are the high power, high duty cyle power 
amplifiers, which look like a Micor RF Amp. Best 
of all, the equipment works at 2 meters with no 
frequency conversion mods required. 

Interface to your controller of choice is not a 
problem. There are a number of articles on the web 
for MSR to external repeater controller connections. 

There are other choices, but Richard's MSR-2000 
deal is hard to beat for a complete repeater.
