You would have to swap out the entire RF deck for one from a TKR-in 
other words, it can't be done. They are completely different beasts.
The TKR, or any synthesized repeater, requires separate VCO's and 
synthesizers for tx and rx, or be designed to use the same 
signal/frequency for both simultaneously (which I'm sure can cause 
problems, or everyone would do it). The TKB-x20 does not have that, nor 
can it be added to an existing station.

The other angle would be to have 2 TKB's, 1 for tx and one for rx...kind 
of a waste...
