FW: [Repeater-Builder] need info on Yaesu FTR-2410A repeater
Paul Holm, Did you ever get the info you needed on the Yaesu FTR-2410 repeater? If it is copyrighted, they will not scan it. I can probably copy a few pages even if it is copyrighted. I think the law allows that. If that didn't work out for whatever reason, I would certainly be willing to pay for your time and expenses to photocopy some select pages on tuning, if that were possible. I'll wait to see if one of the guys here can scan it as you suggested. Would you want to let me know if that works out? Thanks John. 73 Paul - Original Message - From: John Transue <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, June 06, 2008 6:11 PM Subject: RE: [Repeater-Builder] need info on Yaesu FTR-2410A repeater I have a manual by the Yaesu Musen Co., Ltd. Entitled "FTR-710A FTR-2410A FTR-5410 FM REPEATERS INSTRUCTION MANUAL". On the back there is the designation E956100 (911U-OS). I do not know whether this is still under copyright protection. If it is NOT, I can make it available for a short time for RB to scan and make it available to all. I do not wish to part with it for long though because we are having some trouble with repeater sensitivity, and it might be necessary to follow the re-tuning instructions. Igor, I have a manual but it is hard bound like a book, and I do not have a way to copy it. It has fold-out pages that are too big to copy. I have sent a question to Yaesu/Vertex Standard asking whether they have the manual. I'll let you know what they reply. Paul, I also have a FT2410 manual, service type. I had a 2410 and 5410 years ago and when the repeater went I forgot to give the manual. I will sell for $7, the cost of postage. Let me know if you want it. 73, ron, n9ee/r Ron Wright, N9EE 727-376-6575 MICRO COMPUTER CONCEPTS Owner 146.64 repeater Tampa Bay, FL No tone, all are welcome.
