My software version is 6.22 and do not let me changes out of band. I found this soft at www.hackersrussia.ru <http://www.hackersrussia.ru/> freely, may be you have other version than mine. I have two of them, a 24-channel radio and one of the 99-channel units - both work just fine. You need the older software to program the 4-12-24 channel radios, and a newer version of the software for the 99-channel radios. No hacking needed. The radios will have to be re- aligned.
