*TITLE: Sr. Project Manager*
*LOCATION:  Torrance, CA*
*DURATION: 6+ Months*

*Requisition Details:*

*Description*

   - Establishes and implements project management processes and
   methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on
   time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer
   expectations
   - Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments,
   directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis. identifying
   resource needs, performing quality reviews: and escalating functional,
   quality, timeline issues appropriately -Responsible for tracking key
   project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources
   - Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that
   impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being
   managed
   - Manages one or more cross-functional projects of high complexity
   - Responsible for the management of one or more medium to large-sized
   moderately to highly complex projects

*Daily Tasks Performed*

   - Perform all aspects of Project Management including project schedule
   maintenance, budget monitoring, scope management, risk and issue
   monitoring, status reporting, and vendor management
   - Liaison with Business stakeholders and Technical teams; develop strong
   partnerships and drive to high level of satisfaction regarding delivered
   products and services
   - Continuously define/maintain/promote the vision and direction for
   Telematics projects
   - Work in a team environment, and consistently lead and drive the
   design, development, and implementation of leading edge telematics systems
   - Prepare for and conduct internal and client-facing status meetings
   - Prepare for and conduct executive level presentations
   - Comply with PMO established policies and procedures

*Musts*

   - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business
   - Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
   - Project Management certification or successful completion of
   a recognized project management curriculum is preferred

*Business Experience*

   - 7 to 10 years of IT work experience
   - 5 years managing projects

*Wants*

   - Seasoned veteran having strong experience with Waterfall and Agile
   project management methodologies and deliverables
   - 2 years experience in the Automotive industry or in Telematics
   - Hands-on knowledge of custom Internet application and mobility
   development, information architecture, user experience, and services-based
   architecture
   - Experience working in a highly matrixed environment with multiple
   cross-organizational teams
   - Excellent internal and client-facing communication skills
   - Experience conducting C-level presentations
   - Strong knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of products, including
   MS Project
   - Multiple successful end-to-end deliveries from Scope through
   Implementation/Warranty, including maintenance
   - Experience working in a dynamic, highly fluid, technically challenging
   environment
   - Unique Skill Set Desired: Project Management and Business Analysis

   -Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
   -Project Management certification or successful completion of a
recognized
   project management curriculum is preferred

*Business Experience*

   -7 to 10 years of IT work experience
   -5 years managing projects

*Desired Skills*

   -Project delivery to be within 10% on time and on budget.
   -Keep resources morale high and motivated
   -Meet and/or exceed customer expectation
   -Maintain good customer service.
   -Create/maintain project plans
   -Manage/assign tasks to resources
   -Manage project meetings and status reports
   -Keep good project documentation
   -Maintain good communication with the customers.
