We currently have a project need for: Role: Infrastructure Architect Location San Antonio, TX Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6+ months Rate: 57/hr all-inclusive Role: Infrastructure Architect The candidate will need to be able to create infrastructure standards, evaluate software and hardware capability enhancements, design custom infrastructure solutions to support applications, and conduct reviews of existing infrastructure operations. The individual will provide project leadership, mentor Systems Engineers, and acts as bridge between infrastructure operations teams and application development teams. Identifies opportunities for infrastructure and operations improvement, deploys infrastructure solutions, develops business case justifications for technology investments, conducts Proof of Concepts, and diplomatically resolves conflicts. Responsibilities: a.. Drives changes in procedures, systems, or processes that would increase efficiency and reduce costs within the organization. a.. Work with IT leadership to define requirements and convert those requirements into technical architectures. a.. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns and IT practices. a.. Ensure the successful delivery of projects that one is assigned to Job Requirements a.. The ideal candidate will have the following: a.. Excellent overall understanding of Directory Services, Storage Area Networking, Virtualization Technologies, Cloud Computing, Networking Architecture, Diagram and Depict Complex infrastructure, Infrastructure Operations Models, Service Oriented Architecture, High-Availability Solutions, Data Replication Solutions, and Vendor Relationship Management. a.. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly varied work environment in order to maintain required productivity levels. a.. Passion for quality and continuous improvement of processes. a.. Ability to work collaboratively with other groups to ensure appropriate delivery of technical solutions. a.. Ability to use professional concepts and apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of complex issues. a..
