*SOA Solution Architect*

Candidate will collaborate with the *department Lead Architect and the
Enterprise SOA* group on the design and implementation of the service
platform.

*Knowledge/Skills:*
The candidate we’re looking for will have the following characteristics:
• Understanding of *Service Oriented Architecture* and the development of
enterprise wide services
• Experience with an *Enterprise Service Bus best practices*
• Familiar with *SOAP web services*
• Familiar with test driven development application team
• Previous experience in an *Agile development team*
• Java development skills tailored to *cloud design and development best
practices*
• Experience in developing highly scalable and multi-threaded applications.
• Experience in rapid application development groups

*Technical Skills:*
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work
experience
• 5+ years experience in *Java including Object Oriented software designs
and concepts*
• 3+ years experience in *enterprise messaging, internet messaging, and web
service and xml technologies*
• Experience in *ANT, Maven, Junit, Eclipse and XML Spy*
• 3+ years experience with *Oracle and PL/SQL. Must be aware of the Kimball
methodology*.

SOA Architect you will be responsible for helping the organization select

use. The architectural framework will take into account the Enterprise
Architecture as

well as best practices for realizing a service-oriented architecture (SOA)
given significant

legacy IT assets. You should be thoroughly skilled at UML. As an architect
you will advise

and mentor the team on the approach, sequence of activities, selection of
tools, and

organization of models and other artifacts. Additionally, you will actively
participate and

contribute to the Enterprise Architecture team’s activities and
review/comment on

the resulting artifacts.

**The Candidate's SOA experience must include the following: *

   - SOA Governance Implication on decisions around design  architecture of
   SOA
   - Develop policies to manage SOA services
   - Understand relations of the SOA road map of the organization and their
   objectives  business needs
   - Minimum of *7 years of architectural leadership*, with knowledge in a
   minimum of two of the following technical disciplines including Application
